Postcard!!

The Idea behind the postcards is to evoke childhood memories of the Great British Holiday. In particular the seaside. The post card will be received in the post and the receiver is encouraged to fill in the blank spaces on the pre wrote postcard and forward on to a friend or family member, reminding them of the good times they had as children at sea side. I used personal family photos for this project which them self hold many memories. I converted the photo's to Sepia to give them a more Nostalgic feel. And then slightly modernising them by using bright and vibrant vector graphics, highlighting key objects from the picture... E.g Ice Crean, Bucket and Spade.
